Almonds do not usually germinate at all climates unless you have a large, carefully-controlled indoor growing setup. You can germinate almonds for planting simply by soaking and planting them. Soaking a few almonds in water at least 8 hours. After 8 hours, remove the seeds from the water. Then fold the seeds with tissue paper and place them in the refrigerator in a box. Check the box daily and keep the tissue damp at all times. In this way it may take about 7-8 days for germinate roots appear above the tissue paper.
